Yes! Many Proxmox installations use self-signed certificates. You can enable self-signed SSL support in the app settings. We recommend using valid certificates when possible — see our guide on installing SSL certificates in Proxmox.

API Token authentication is recommended as it's more secure and doesn't expire. You can scope tokens with specific permissions for extra safety. Username/password auth uses session tickets that need periodic renewal. Both methods are fully supported. Read our permissions guide for setup details.

Yes! ProxmoxR supports unlimited clusters with all subscription plans. Add your homelab, work clusters, and client environments — switch between them instantly from the dashboard header. Each cluster stores its own credentials independently. See our cluster setup guide to get started.

ProxmoxR connects to the Proxmox API on port 8006 (the default). You need this port accessible from your phone — either directly on your LAN, via a VPN like WireGuard, or through a reverse proxy. We recommend a VPN for remote access. Check our secure remote access guide for setup options.

ProxmoxR is available in 20 languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian. The app auto-detects your system language, or you can switch manually in settings.

Yes! ProxmoxR includes a built-in NoVNC console viewer that gives you full console access to your VMs directly from your phone. Authentication is handled automatically — just tap the console button and you're in. Perfect for emergency troubleshooting when you're away from your desk.
